Sales & conditions

1 – Subject

The general terms of sale presented here govern the contractual relationship between Mrs. Camille Nehlig, author-photographer, and any customer using the online art print shop accessible at the address camneh-shop.com. They apply to any purchase made on the shop’s website, camneh-shop.com. The customer acknowledges having read and accepts these general terms of sale without reservation when entering into a contract with Camille Nehlig. She reserves the right to modify their content at any time. The general terms applicable to an online print sale will be those in force at the time of payment for that sale.

2 – Nature of Art Prints Sold

An original art print is a photograph taken by the artist, printed by them or under their control, signed, and numbered within a limit of thirty copies, regardless of format or medium (Article 98A Appendix III of the CGI).
As per this definition, each print is numbered and signed by me. The number of prints possible for a photograph is determined at the outset and can vary from 1 to a maximum of 30. This information is provided for each of the images offered on camneh-shop.com. The buyer is assured of being the sole owner of the print bearing the number indicated on the back. Since the available quantities are limited, the prices of prints may vary, even for the same format and finish, depending on the total number of prints in the series (from 1 to 30) or the number of remaining prints possible. Prices are available for each image on the product page.

3 – Order

The validation of an order implies the complete acceptance of the General Terms of Sale. Payments are made by credit card and are fully secured through the use of the Stripe or PayPal payment platform. If a customer wishes to pay by bank transfer, they must contact me by email to finalize the order and payment. The buyer is encouraged to verify the personal information (email and postal address) provided, as they are used for order processing and print shipment. Any errors due to incorrect address information will result in new shipping charges to be borne by the buyer. The prices indicated for each print depend on the desired size and finish and do not include shipping costs. The shipping cost will be calculated at the time of order finalization. An invoice will be prepared by the author and sent to the email address provided at the time of the order.

4- Delivery Time

Unless otherwise stated, the prints ordered are not in stock. The available quantity indicated on the product page corresponds to the number of prints still possible in the series. Therefore, the order involves sending the file to Studio Sherif Paris, a specialized laboratory for Art prints, followed by verification of the print by the Author, who must sign and number it. After that, the package will be handled by the Post or a specialized distributor. A delivery time of up to three weeks is possible between the order placement and the receipt of the prints. Since the delivery time depends on the carrier, any potential delay cannot be subject to a complaint or claim, and no compensation can be sought from Camille Nehlig. If, for exceptional reasons, the order processing time should be longer, the buyer will be informed by email.

5 – Receiving the Package

To ensure the optimal quality of the prints, they are wrapped in tissue paper to prevent scratches and then placed in plastic film in case of humidity issues. Subsequently, the prints are either placed flat in a reinforced box or in a cardboard tube (depending on the size and quantity of prints). If your package is damaged during delivery (e.g., crushed box, flattened tube), you must refuse it so that it can be returned to me. Fine Art prints are delicate works that should be handled with care. Special attention should be paid when unpacking the package. Negligence leading to damage to the print will be the sole responsibility of the customer. To preserve all the qualities of the print, it is highly recommended to handle it with cotton gloves to avoid altering the surface or leaving fingerprints.

6 – Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L121-21 of the Consumer Code, the Buyer has 14 days from the receipt of the order to return the print(s), at their own expense, in their original packaging with the invoice and certificate(s) of authenticity. The refund will be made within 20 working days after receiving the prints in their original condition.

7 – Intellectual Property

The numbered and signed prints sold on the camneh-shop.com website are protected by the Intellectual Property Code. The Buyer is informed that, in accordance with Article L111-3 of the Intellectual Property Code, the acquisition of a print does not confer any intellectual property rights on the work. Any reproduction or distribution is prohibited without the prior agreement of the Author. Any use contrary to legal provisions constitutes infringement and may result in legal action under Articles L122-4 and L335-2 of the Intellectual Property Code.

8 – Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction

These general terms of sale, as well as the contractual relationship between the Buyer and the Author, are subject to French law. In case of a dispute, and in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code, the buyer has the right to seek mediation services. In accordance with Article L 152-2 of the Consumer Code, for a dispute to be examined by an external organization, the buyer must demonstrate that they have attempted to resolve their dispute with Camille Nehlig directly beforehand. This dispute can be brought to the attention of Camille Nehlig via email or postal mail.
